Adaptogenic Vegan Maca Malt



300ml cold almond milk or water
25g rolled oats
1 tablespoon of organic maca powder
1 teaspoon organic ashwagandha powder
1 tablespoon flax seeds
1 handful of blueberries
1 handful of washed spinach
1/2 frozen sliced banana
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Option: add organic pea protein powder (vegan) for an extra boost of quality protein and pomegranate seeds to top.


1. Add the almond milk to a good blender. Adding the liquid first helps to prevent the powder from sticking to the sides once it starts whizzing around.
1 (a) We use either the 1000W NutriNinja BL480 or 1200W Ninja Blender BL492. You can use any blender you want; these are just the ones that we use and think do a good job.
2. Add the oats, maca powder, ashwagandha powder, flax seeds, blueberries, spinach, sliced banana and vanilla extract (in any order).
2 (a) Drop in 10g of organic pea protein powder if using.
3. Blend until smooth.
4. Pour into a tumbler, glass or otherwise fancy jar.
5. Enjoy!

Tip: swill out your blender or bullet with warm water as soon as possible after use - it will save you time with the washing up (#winning) and means you won't need to put it through the dishwasher as often!
